The Active Play Programme is inclusive, fun and of course active! Sessions combine structured games led by an adult, followed by creative free play. Research has shown that children who are physically active are more likely to have a healthier lifestyle and learn better, as they grow older. Dynamos is aimed at complementing junior cricket so children can do both if they wish! The session finishes with a game of countdown cricket that will take minutes and give everyone a chance to participate in all elements of the game – batting, bowling and fielding. Designed to be fun, inclusive and active, Active Play is a straightforward and inexpensive programme to implement. Dynamos is all about fun and provides children with a more social offer, focusing on developing the fundamental skills required to play cricket.
